كشفت الشركة السويدية للسيارات فولفو النقاب عن نموذج اختبارى يوضح الملامح المستقبلية لسيارة الصالون الفاخرة، جاء ذلك من خلال فعاليات معرض فرانكفورت الدولى للسيارات المستمر حتى 25 سبتمبر الجارى.
وتعتبر هذه السيارة رباعية الأبواب خطوة جديدة على درب تطوير سيارة العرض "Universe"، التى ظهرت لأول مرة بمعرض شنغهاى الدولى للسيارات بربيع 2011 .
تندرج السيارة البالغ طولها خمسة أمتار تقريباً، تحت موديلات الكوبيه ''الهاتشباك'' بخلاف النموذج الاختبارى الذى ظهر بالصين كموديل ''نوتشباك'' .
ولم يقدم ستيفان جاكوبي، المدير التنفيذي لشركة فولفو، إجابات واضحة ومحددة عن الاستفسارات بشأن إمكانية دخول هذه السيارة مرحلة الإنتاج القياسي.
فى حين أوضحت الشركة السويدية للسيارات فولفو عن بعض التفاصيل التى تتعلق بتجهيزات المقصورة الداخلية؛ حيث تأتي السيارة المستوحاة من التصميمات الاسكندنافية التقليدية مزودة بسجاد مصنوع يدوياً من الصوف، وتعتمد على فلسفة استعمال فريدة من نوعها؛ إذ يتم التحكم في العديد من أنظمة المعلومات والترفيه عن طريق حركات الأصابع على شاشات لمسية، مثلما هو الحال مع الهواتف الذكية والحواسب اللوحية
