منذزمن ليست بالقليل والكل ينتظرالصغيرةالجميلة فولكس فاجن أب منذ فترة هي الأخرى ليست بالقليل ونحن نعلم أن شركة سكودا ، وهي كما تعلمون الفرع التشيكي لمجموعة فولكس فاجن ، تستعد للدخول في المنافسة في فئة سيارات المدينة صغيرة الحجم والاقتصادية، واليوم كشفت شركة سكودا النقاب عن نسختها من أب ، حيث أطلقت عليها " سيتي جو – Citigo" كسيارة توضح من لقبها وظيفتها .
" سيتي جو " لم تدعي أنها سيارة مستقلة ، وفي الحقيقة لم تعبأ سكودا أو تدعي غير ذلك ، لذا فمن السهل أن نرى التشابه الكبير بينها وبين فولكس فاجن أب ، وربما هو أمر يزيد من الفكر الاقتصادي لتلك السيارة ، فتكاليف التطوير والتغير تم تقليصها ، كل ما تم هو تصميم مغاير للشبكة الأمامية والمصابيح الأمامية ، والمصدات مع اختلاف شكلي في المصابيح الخلفية ، أما باقي المكونات فهي ذاتها سواء منصة البناء أو حتى الأبواب .
وبرغم أن سكودا لم تكشف بعد عن أي صور للمقصورة إلا أننا نتوقع أن تستمر فلسفة التطابق أيضاً من طراز " أب " ، وسيكون الاختلاف الأبرز في طرح السيارة بنسخة خماسية الأبواب ، بخلاف فولكس فاجن أب ، التي ستكون بنسخة ثلاثية الأبواب فقط .
وبرغم حجمها المدمج ، إلا ان الصانع التيشيكى ، يؤكد ان " سيتي جو " يمكنها استيعاب أربعة ركاب داخلها براحة تامة أما صندوق الأمتعة يبلغ حجمه 251 لتر ويصل إلى 951 لتر عند طي المقاعد الخلفية .
ومن المقرر أن تستفيد سكودا ” سيتى جو ” من محركين جديدين ، كلاهما ثلاثي الإسطوانات بسعة 1.0 لتر ويعملان علي البنزين ، تستطيع النسخة الأولى توليد قوة حصانيه مقدارها 60 حصان مع معدل استهلاك للوقود يبلغ 4.5 لتر لكل 100 كلم ، أما النسخة الثانية فيمكنها توليد قوة حصانيه تصل إلي 75 حصان مع معدل إستهلاك للوقود يبلغ 4.7 لتر لكل 100 كلم .
